The TMJ is a small joint located in front of the ear where the skull and lower jaw meet. It permits the lower (mandible) to move and function. Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are not uncommon and have various symptoms. Patients often complain of ear pain, headaches and limited jaw movement. They may also complain of popping, clicking or grating sounds in the joint and feel pain when opening and closing their mouth.
At AZTMJ, Dr. Stan Farrell uses the most effective methods of treatment and works diligently to erase the pain caused by TMD in the lives of his patients. If you suffer from TMD, jaw pain and or facial pain, please schedule an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Stan Farrell at 480-945-3629 or visit us online at www.headpaininstitute.com for more information.
